A history of trust and experience.

When you’re moving forward, it’s okay to look back. It all started with our founder Rolly Lokre. Rolly was born and raised in Wausau, Wisconsin, and studied economics at the University of Wisconsin. Directly following school in 1978, he began his career by founding Wheston Wholesale, Dun-Rite Exteriors and Preferred Properties; three highly successful corporations, with facets in the wholesale building supply industry, home renovation, residential and commercial construction, as well as property management.

In 1999, Rolly established Lokre. He led his regional construction firms from their start to the formation of this parent company, which has achieved a lasting reputation within the national real estate industry and communities throughout the Midwest. Rolly’s strong principles and impact-driven mindset are why we’re proud to continue on.
